Anatoly Bykov (Russian: Анато́лий Петрович Бы́ков; Russian pronunciation: [ɐnɐˈtolʲɪj ˈbɨkəf]) (born 17 January 1960, Nazarovo, Krasnoyarsk Krai) is a Russian businessman.
In 1998 he supported Alexander Lebed for the election for governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai in Siberia. At the 1999 Duma elections he attempted a candidature on the LDPR ticket, which was rejected for formal reasons. Bykov was head of one of the largest aluminum firms in the world, in Krasnoyarsk.
Bykov is considered one of the most powerful persons in Krasnoyarsk. Bykov holds a seat in the Krasnoyark territorial Duma and according to sociological surveys, his party “Eurasian Alliance” is ahead of the liberal-democratic, communist and “Rodina” parties.
In 2002, he received a prison sentence of six and a half year suspended sentence for plotting the murder of a former associate. The case is under review by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, following an application lodged by Bykov.
