Danny — Thanks for fixing the Keeble article. It would be fairer to say that Keeble's work "inspired" the Palmer Clinic/Hospital than that he was "responsible" for it; probably he was more directly related to Nigerian Christian Hospital. (I know that he was told when he first promised a C of C hospital in Africa that it wasn't done and that he responded that he was a man of his word.) I am trying to find out just how many visits Keeble made to Africa — do you have anything that would help me on this? Thanks, Rlquall 02:17, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fine Job!

Danny – The work on Keeble is of the highest character IMO, and fine stylistically by me. Just what it needed. If I may (know that this isn't a blog), how did you get so interested in the Portugese language in general and Angola in particular? Did you just see the crying need? Mrs. Keeble

Are you aware whether the second Mrs. Keeble is still alive? She was considerably younger than he (about 20 yrs., IIRC) and I remember reading something about her 100th birthday celebration but that was several years ago. I believe that she was in a nursing home. It hasn't been all that long since she was living in their old house on Hyndsver Rd. in Bordeaux and "Marshall Keeble, Evangelist" was still listed in the Nashville White Pages as she did not change it (as most widows don't) after his death. (I was tempted on occassion to call her just to tell her what a fine man her husband was, but realized that as a) she already knew this and b) she didn't know me, such a call could have done more harm than good.) Wiki-meetup Nashville on Labor Day weekend!

Wiki-meetup Nashville will be September 5–6 (Labor Day weekend) 2009. No conference rooms or libraries. Food, beer and conversation, maybe even a show. So come either day or both! --EdwardsBot (talk) 00:10, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
