Good Lord, they have put the horse in charge of the oats. I am out of here.
Anna Anderson
There's a controversy that remains over whether Franziska Schanzkowska was Anna Anderson, though there's no doubt that Anna Anderson was not Anastasia. Removing sourced material that suggests as much IS vandalism. The article needs to be well-balanced. --Bookworm857158367 (talk) 13:30, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I disagree it needs to be 'balanced.' There is an answer now, she was not Anastasia. Her DNA, like her photos, match FS. All evidence points to her being FS. There are no other suspects. I have already added two news stories from major carriers stating she was the Polish factory worker FS and can find more if needed. She is a 99.9% match with FS's family. In the absence of other possible suspects, or long lost identical cousins, and with proof heavily in favor of her being FS, I see no reason to mislead the reading public that there is even any chance at all she was someone else. If news agencies state as a fact she was FS, so should we. There is no 'controversy' over whether she was FS, only a few sad people who do not want to believe they or their family were fooled by a common worker. This is not the same thing as having any valid reason to suspect she was another person besides FS. And for every person you say who couldn't accept her as poor due to class distinctions of the time, I can show you quotes by others wh said she was vulgar, common, wiped her nose under the table, reminded them of a charwoman, etc. Also, it's actually an insult to all working class people to demean the ability of those who have to work for a living to present themselves as 'high class'. Actors do it all the time.Aggiebean (talk) 14:40, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Bookworm857158367 you have proven you are obsessed about Anderson and cannot cope with fact that proves her to be a total fraud and Schankowska. Nothing will convince you as you are not able to accept reality. It is about time you buried your fantasy and accepted proven reality. The article is meant to tell people fact about her, not fantasy. She was a fraud. It's as simple as that and she has been exposed. She was a fake from the very beginning and in extremely bad taste. It is not by the way vandalism to remove discredited 'sources' which have been proven to be fraudulent. It is however against wikipedia policy to put in discredited 'sources' trying to pass them off as factual. There is no 'balance' putting in fraudulent 'sources'. That is just inaccurate and unworthy of wikipedia. Go and read up on Anderson and you will discover the reality. Do try and read something apart from Kurth as well. It is all out there. You only have to want to do so. Unfortunately I see no sign that you are willing. Also DNA rarely matches outside of families. Don't try and push that misinformation. It's just another sign of your inability to understand and to try to push your extremely POV agenda. You have lost your credibility.Finneganw 12:38, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
