Moonchild is the first track from the seventh studio album of the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. It was released in 1988.

The song marks the beginning of the concept album, based on the popular folklore. It is inspired by the 1917 Aleister Crowley book with the same name. The song opens with the devil (also mentioned in the lyrics as the fallen angel and the bornless one) addressing his guardian mother, referred to as Babalon, the scarlet woman, the whore of Babylon.
