Bolding Lead Roles

Sorry if my edit to Maaya Uchida went against the manual of style, I'm not really a regular editor. Her list of roles already had three other bolded ones though, shouldn't they be changed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shardwing (talkcontribs) 17:17, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

My Edit was removed

Hey, I'm sorry about the article posted earlier on m behalf, Delonexenergy. I'm new to wikipedia, and was trying to create a dummy page to test things out.

My Edit was removed

Hey, I wanted to know why my edit was removed

Stop adding external links. Please see your talk page. Optakeover(Talk) 16:10, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I think you should be very careful when removing interlanguage links. I think bots (or a bot) populated Wikidata back in December, so there are many links not present there. You should check if every link is present in Wikidata and leave the ones that aren't. --Moscow Connection (talk) 18:15, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Read this, by the way: Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#Removing Wikidata interwiki links and their reversal. Try the script recommended by Rschen7754 there. I haven't because I don't edit Wikidata yet. But I'm worried cause you may want to delete interlanguage links from all Japan-related articles. :) --Moscow Connection (talk) 19:21, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads-up. But don't worry, I checked most of my removals, and the interwiki links did show up (although in at least one case it didn't, so I have to revert it). Maybe I'll try the script too. And no, I only want to remove interwiki links from articles I want to edit ;) Happy editing! Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:27, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I don't know how to use the script, by the way. --Moscow Connection (talk) 04:26, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry to say this, but I thought I would show you an example of how your edits had damaged Wikipedia and I found these in a matter of minutes. :) Not in Wikidata: uz:Manga, kk:Elfen Lied, be-x-old:Elfen Lied. Incorrectly linked in Wikidata: eo:Mijazaki Hajao. I simply wanted to find some examples, so I looked at the most popular pages. --Moscow Connection (talk) 04:48, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You can always revert the edits, or better yet, add the missing links to Wikidata ;) I don't mind being trouted at this point. It will teach me to be a little more careful with my edits. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 04:55, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've corrected these 4 links just to show you how clever I am. But I didn't check other links. To be honest, I simply noticed (looked at creation dates) that Wikidata was populated by bots in November–December, so I just browsed through your contribution history, opened the most popular articles and checked if there were any interlanguage links changed or added to them lately. (By the way, I have your talk page in my watchlist at the moment, I always do it when I start a conversation with someone.) --Moscow Connection (talk) 05:45, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And, by the way, in case you have difficulties with Wikidata (as I did)... First of all, I noticed that Wikidata wasn't listed in my SUL info. So I logged to Wikidata with the same password I have here, after which I found "wikidatawiki" automatically added to my SUL. (I didn't register, I simply entered the same login and password, and I found out that I was already there.) Then, I mostly use Internet Explorer, and I couldn't see any "edit", "add", etc. links in Wikidata when I was using it. I saw interwikis, but I didn't see any way to edit or add anything. Chrome and Firefox will work. --Moscow Connection (talk) 05:45, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Need help and counseling.

I do not believe that the article I edited contains any original material. I have cited source material from reliable sources.

What text is considered original material that I shouid remove or provide further citations?

RichardCacioppo (talk) 23:21, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How come you never notified me that you sent the page to AFD after declining my PROD? The article is in a shit state. The only references in the article regard the charting information for some songs from K-On. It's a dictionary definition at best. Come on now.—Ryulong (琉竜) 03:10, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Ryulong, sorry that I forgot to notify you. Probably because I thought that the page was on your watchlist and that you would see my edit. I should have at least informed you. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:53, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's sorta upsetting that the AFD closed as keep just because "we know it exists". The sources do not support the notability of the subject. They support the notability of K-On's music. And oddly enough the article was on my watchlist. I just somehow missed the AFD entirely.—Ryulong (琉竜) 03:58, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if you don't agree with the outcome of the discussion, you can always take it to WP:DELREV, or wait a few months, then re-nominate it for deletion. Honestly, I have no opinion on the article, I only sent it to AfD because the PROD was likely to be challenged because of the sources even though your rationale had some merit. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 04:16, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
My PROD explicitly stated that the sources were bad. I don't see why you felt the need to send it to AFd.—Ryulong (琉竜) 05:57, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Aoi Yuki

I translated this text from Japanese wiki to wiki in Portuguese, and I wanted to bring it back here. What do you think of it?

She entered the entertainment industry at the age of 4. As a child, participated in films and dramas. From 1999 until 2002, she made regular appearances on variety shows Appare Sanma Dai-sensei and Yappari Sanma Dai-sensei, from Fuji TV. When she was in the fifth grade of primary school, she made his first work as a seiyū, which placed her in every branch of dubbing. Until the end of 2006, she was affiliated with the theater company Central. After her admission to the college in August 2007, starts to belong officially to the Breath's team, changing his artistic name to Aoi Yūki. She got her first major role in 2008 in Kure-nai , as Murasaki Kuhōin. In August of the same year, moves to the Pro-Fit. After that, there is an increase in their work as voice actress and a decrease in their work as an actress. In 2009, starred in two animes: Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu and Yumeiro Pâtissière as Riko Mikogami and Ichigo Amano, respectively. After that, she becomes the protagonist in many of his works, taking as an example Iris, from Pokemon: Best Wishes!. In the year 2011, she interprets the protagonist in Shōjo Madoka Magika Mahō, Madoka Kaname. In October of the same year, won the award for best voice actor in "Newtype x Machi Asobi Anime Awards 2011", and , on March 2, 2012, in the announcement of 6th Seiyu Awards, became the winner newest history of the award, winning at 19 years of age.

Thank you very much. Ermeson15 (talk) 21:15, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It could use some copyediting and sources, but other than that, it should be good to add. The article's currently a stub, so any further info is always appreciated. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:19, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

ALTIMA

Thank you for contacting me Narutolovehinata5,

The reason why I made a change to the names is because motsu usually goes by that name, real name is never used. But it's OK because I talked to Motsu and he's cool with what's on the wiki page. My interview with him (which comes out today) was added on the external link.

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.10.96.16 (talk) 17:58, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Trout

You trouted me for deleting Christian Pasilan at 13:37 when I had already restored it at 13:36, less than two minutes after making the mistake. Perhaps you should trout yourself, or better still get on with something useful instead of cluttering talk pages with stupid rubbish. SpinningSpark 13:43, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

When I trouted you, the page hadn't been restored yet. It was restored while I was saving my edit. Guess I was a little slow. Sorry about that. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:11, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey could you have a look at this discussion and provide a Point of View. I would like to spark some debate on this matter regarding use of Japanese Given names and Family Names. Thanks. Also, I'm still planning material for that Accel World article so I would end up with a large edit sometime soon. If they're any other articles with Terminology sections please let me know. Peace. Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I removed the proposed deletion message from the page 'ArUco' for the reason 'Does not appear to be particularly notable software.' as this software has been referenced on multiple other wikipedia pages (see ARToolKit and List_of_augmented_reality_software), I hope this is okay.

about ore no kanojo to Osananjumu ga shuraba sugiru

It is a really small mistake and not that big of a deal but i am currently watching the anime and you put that his parents left him in high school but they left him on his own when he was in his third year in middle school. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.204.204.58 (talk) 19:03, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Free!, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BS11 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Two things

I'm cleaning up Attack on Titan and I'm noticing two things, the first is a continuing trend, and the second is a mistake you made. First, songs whose titles are in Japanese should not have their titles be literally translated into English. I am noticing this a lot on anime and manga articles, even though the Japanese manual of style does not proscribe this action. I think something needs to be stated somewhere to the effect that "Unless a song is primarily known by its translated title (ex. "A Cruel Angel's Thesis"), do not translate song titles" And secondly, I noticed that you mentioned that the broadcast is happening on April 7. While it is true that it airs at ~2 am on Sunday mornings, it is still considered part of the Saturday night broadcast so you should follow what the broadcaster says. This is how it works for TV shows no matter the originating nation, as I am almost 99% sure that List of The Venture Bros. episodes follows this concept, as it airs on Sunday nights, but technically on Monday.—Ryulong (琉竜) 16:18, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

However, we should still apply WP:MOS. I think an RFC would be a good option to decide whether or not the official broadcast date or the actual broadcast date should be used. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 22:43, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, you responded. MOS:DATE does not govern when a broadcast day ends. It simply says that if you are going to write "12:10 am" in a 24-hour system, it should be parsed as "00:10" instead of "24:10". There is nothing in the manual of style that states that if a show is said to have premiered on "Saturday April 6, 2013, at 25:58" (a date all reliable sources point to), that the English Wikipedia should report this as "Sunday April 7, 2013, at 01:58/1:58 am".—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:42, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
But it's still implied. And besides, such a practice would confuse readers who are unaware of how Japan's broadcast schedule works (even I was confused at first). If you don't mind, I'm going to start an RfC on this very matter so that proper consensus will be reached. Thank you for the heads up. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 18:48, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's not implied at all. And this doesn't confuse readers who watch crap on Adult Swim. They have stuff that premieres after midnight but they still say it's part of the Saturday or Sunday programming block rather than the Sunday or Monday block.—Ryulong (琉竜) 19:03, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Anete meuzniece brice

Hello Narutolovehinata5. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Anete meuzniece brice, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: a redirect seems reasonable, in this case. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 16:15, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was actually going to tag it since we appeared to already have an article on her, but it appears it was redirected while Twinkle was tagging it. It happens sometimes. Sorry. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:00, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted a clarification on the message you left on the above user's page. Am I missing something? Hoax? -SFK2 (talk) 10:48, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The user created an article, but later blanked it, which was why it was tagged as G7. I warned him just in case. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:52, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but I doubt that it was a hoax given that it's probably COI-spam. -SFK2 (talk) 10:54, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Now that I think about it, G11 was probably a better speedy criteria. Thanks for the heads-up. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:55, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. -SFK2 (talk) 10:57, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can't agree that 608 words are necessary to summarize a 24 minute episode, and even episode 4's 355 are too many. If you disagree, would you please state your reasoning on the talk page? I agree that the template I placed is inaccurate though. ー HigherFive | 16:26, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What I meant to say was, the summary should be concise: not too long, not too short. Also, the length of the summaries is actually more or less the average length of summaries in the episode lists I've seen. Perhaps a better idea would be simply to spin it off into its own article. Also, the template you added is partially incorrect, as some of the episodes had episode summaries that were so brief they didn't even properly explain the essentials of the episode. Hi

Agree with your feeling that adding a separate section on Mythbusters quotes is not worthwile. Will look for another, less structure modifying way to mention it. Probably more as a single sentence, along with some other popular culture facts.

SKE48, BLP tag

The BLP tag links to [Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons]], and the policy covers all of Wikipedia--not necessarily articles that can be called biographies in the strict sense of the word. BTW, I don't dispute the removal of the tag. The sourcing is poor, but not as poor as the content of the article itself, which consists of nothing but membership trivia. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 16:28, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Manyū Hiken-chō

The anime IS yuri. I have watched the episodes, and in all of them, women suck the breasts of other women and drink the breast milk and all that. And they kiss a few times and grab each other's boobs. And they moan. They moan. Is that a good enough source for you? 24.184.185.132 (talk) 02:55, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, one good idea is to find a reliable source that actually confirms it to be a yuri anime. Which anime are considered "yuri" is sometimes subject to debate and isn't always obvious. Citing a reliable source is a good way to confirm it. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:04, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I kind of understand now. Thanks 24.184.185.132 (talk) 03:25, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
