Description
English: Street Scene, Churt Churt is an extremely old village. Its name appears on a document dated 688 when Cadwaella, the King of Wessex, gave some land in Churt to the religious authorities in order to celebrate his conversion to Christianity. The village is divided by the A287. The postbox is dates from the reign of George V.
