  1. @-sche The above "mint"-related forms may be considered SoP or simply collocations. نَعْنَاع (naʿnāʿ) is the lemma form, نَعْنَع (naʿnaʿ) is an alternative form. بالنعناع (bi-'l-naʿnāʿ) is simply "with mint" (prefix "bi-", definite article "al-" (reduced to 'l in pronunciation after a vowel) and the noun. By Arabic spelling rules, one-letter prefixes are attached to the following words without a space, so is the article. Similar constructs are done for بالسكر (bi-'l-sukkar) "with sugar", بالحليب (bi-'l-ḥalīb) "with milk". It is an Arabian letter from the kufic era when Al‑Qaraan Al‑Karama was written without I‑jam / O‑gam...
The actual Arabians are making con‑fusion be‑tween some letter like P/F, V/W/U, S/SH, T/TH, the Fa that Hebrew & Syriac have in their Alpha‑betahas with walue P & F... So the error come from bad writing from the Arabians scribe... Mangêzd (talk)
