New Kizuna Poster and Screenshots

We have our first new Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna poster in almost half a year!

After 2 posters featuring Taichi and Agumon in the same pose, getting one with everyone is a nice change! (Plus our 2 new characters.)

Update- New Trailer with tons of new info!


On top of that we have a small batch of new screenshots from the film!



The first shot shows Omegamon (being formed?) Then we have a shot of the camera looking up at Taichi from the back. A group shot of the 02 kids and their Digimon (most in their adult forms.) Menoa looking at a computer screen. Taichi and Yamato yelling at something, and appearing to be in some type of digital space. And we finish with a shot of Agumon with a reflection of Taichi in his eye (and it appears to be the same back shot as before.)



Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, the 20th Anniversary film for Digimon Adventure, comes out February 21, 2020 in Japan, with a release in the US in Spring 2020 announced.


Thanks to our friends at digi_channel for the heads up. We aren't sure where they originally came from at the moment, but hopefully we get even more soon with both V-Jump and Jump Festa coming up.

So far this is looking a lot like a rehash of the previous 2 Diaboromon movies.

Weird how Hawkmon isn't Aquilamon there. Hopefully they can get to Ultimate and/or Mega on their own, though they'll probably just get to Champion and that's it.

Now that Omnimon is confirmed, I wonder if he'll get another buff or just be in his regular Omnimon form.

That movie poster is very cute. I’m feeling pretty excited for this movie even after not enjoying tri, I hope it is a good experience!

Wow already so negative on Omegamon lol but I'm so happy to see all those 02 Adults again although Hawkmon didn't evolve? I sure hope it will leave some great moments and emotions enough to impress us. Obviously too many characters to be packed inside this movie to get even so much less screentime to share....

I really hope the final antagonist is Demon would honestly make sense if it was him.

Glad to see all the characters not in Tri art style honestly feel this is a massive improvement compared to Tri especially Omegamon and the Zero 2 cast Champion level digimon and Hawkmon i just hope the fights are better in this as well.

Oh that's a nice poster. Tai and Agumon was nice and simple, but this... this feels like a goodbye. Damn.

Animations looking sliiiiick, too.

This poster is just a complete mess, most Digimon look terrible with strangely bloated faces, Piyomon's beak looks like it's in the middle of sliding off her face, it looks like Agumon was drawn from three perspectives at once (none of which make sense) and Gabumon, Tentomon and Hawkmon are the only ones looking decent (and in Hawkmon's case that's only in the stylistic sense because in terms of composition he looks deranged and about to take a bite out of Miyako's face).
The humans look okay, which is the most you could ever say about the Kizuna designs, but I do question some of the perspectives, like how Mimi's lower arm being in Front of Koushiro works taking into account where here feet should be.

Anyway, the screenshots look better than the poster by far. The color combination of red and yellow seems to recur often throughout the movie.

Looking into the poster, it looks like the music score (as I scanned from my translator app: 富貴晴美) will be composed by Harumi Fuuki who did Birthday Wonderland, Miss Hokusai, and Forest of Piano.

Poster seemed blurry, but the name did translate well to match it on Google Search to reveal her in AnimeNewsNetwork

Oh nice to see that the 02 kids get in on the action! They're keeping the antagonist a well guarded secret it seems. I'm getting really curious who they're going to end up using.

Plot Twist: It's Hudiemon in disguise.

That's a nice poster. Koushiro still drinks oolong tea, I see. I like Daisuke and V-mon's pose together. Sora in the poster looks weird to me; I think it's the way her head and eyes are drawn.

Hawkmon's arms bother me in the screenshot of the 02 Chosen Children and their Partner Digimon.

Is it just me or are they still kinda playing with the whole Koushirou-Mimi thing, what with him glancing at her and all? They just can't get enough of this shiptease eh...
