It's finally time. We are actually getting another college football video game. It has been a decade since Denard Robinson graced the cover of NCAA 14, and college football fans are getting impatient.

Tragically, a generation of Michigan football legends will miss the franchise altogether. Rashan Gary, Devin Bush, Aidan Hutchinson, J.J. McCarthy, Blake Corum, and countless more will have cemented their Michigan legacies without the chance to play as themselves in the maize and blue.

Still, Michigan has a lot of players worth getting excited about. The Wolverines have several high-end players who should be among the top of the game's ratings. Here are our predictions for the best.

CB Will Johnson

Johnson might actually have a good case to be the cover athlete --but I digress.

The future first-round pick has the talent, athleticism, and name recognition to be a 99 overall, and should be among the top-rated players nationally. His range is probably upwards of 96 with a solid shot of the perfect grade.

DT Mason Graham

Graham has been a revelation for Michigan since he enrolled at the University as just a three-star recruit. Draft experts are touting Graham as one of the best players at his position next season and his rating in the game should reflect that. My best guess at an exact number would be 95. Let's hope that the developers watch football!

RB Donovan Edwards

The Don!

The rising senior had a slight down year in 2023 but is fully expected to rebound next season and be the feature piece on offense. He's got the speed to hit home runs and can create mismatches in the passing game. There aren't many players in the country more Dynamic than Edwards. Expect to see him with a similar grade to Graham at around a 93.

TE Colston Loveland

Loveland joins Johnson and Graham as the third player from the 2022 recruiting class featured on this list.

Michigan leaned on their tight ends in the passing game last season and Loveland made a name for himself in a big way. The Idaho native proved to be a lethal weapon through the air, and will truly be a complete player if he can improve his pass blocking. Expect to see him hovering right around a 90 grade.

S Rod Moore

Like just about everybody else on this list, Moore is being heralded as one of the best players in the country at his position. He's one of the most cerebral players in the nation and is expected to step up as one of the veteran leaders on Michigan's defense in 2024. The game might not be able to fully reflect his on-field impact, but Moore has a good shot to be graded just as high as Loveland with a 90.
