Hi! My name is Hannah Sugita. I am an elementary education major with an ESL concentration. The passion for teaching students of another language originated with my dad who was born and raised in Japan. Growing up my household was dual cultural. I want to use my experience to teach students who have a similar home life. My desire for my classroom is to be a safe space for diversity in learning and culture so that all students find success in their education. This philosophy is explored throughout my online portfolio, please look around and see what shaped my education and how I plan to apply that to help my future learners find success.
