Bryan Collegiate High School, in its ninth year of giving students the opportunity to earn 60 hours of college credit, will be involved in developing similar campuses around the state.
Collegiate is among 13 recipients of a Texas Education Agency grant to be a demonstration site for other school districts wanting to start an early college high school.
Collegiate, which works with Blinn College is among 150 campuses in Texas with a dual credit curriculum.
The $28,000 dollar grant covers activities through May of next year. That includes working with those developing new campuses in providing mentoring, technical assistance, webinars, hosting open houses, and participating in regional and statewide conferences.
