Cole Haan, which is known for its shoes with formal uppers and athletic soles, has introduced a new style: 2 Zerøgrand.
The brand is calling the shoe, which is available online for men and women and in Cole Haan stores, a reinvented oxford. It features an anatomically contoured footbed cushion that supports weight distribution and moisture control and an integrated motion outsole that helps with unrestricted motion and flexibility. The shoe comes in multiple color ways and retails from $250 to $270 for women and from $300 to $320 for men.
The launch of the shoe coincides with a global campaign called “Feel the Future,” which showcases innovators including Scott Patt, the vice president of design and innovation at Cole Haan’s Global Inovation Center; Harry’s cofounders Andy Katz-Mayfield and Jeff Raider, and Danielle Fong, cofounder and chief scientist of Lightsail.
The brand recently partnered with JackThreads on the first iteration of this shoe, the Zerøgrand, shoe for a summer capsule collection inspired by the Olympics.
