Lakeview School District asks for public input on superintendent search

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The Lakeview School District in Battle Creek asked parents, students, administrators and district residents for their opinion in the search for a new superintendent.

School officials invited participants to attend one of three meetings to share their priorities for the qualities, experience and skills needed in a superintendent.

After the district collects input from community members, the Board of Education plans to hold a special meeting Tuesday, Dec. 14. They'll create a job description and posting based on the feedback.
