About the Item

Vintage 1950’s Knoll Walnut Lounge Chair designed by Lewis Butler. Upholstered in the original brown wool fabric, upholstery is in great condition but cushions have stiffened from age (still solid and durable as-is). Walnut frame has a nice grain pattern and is in fantastic condition. original Knoll tag still intact underneath. 25ʺW × 31ʺD × 31ʺH, Seat Height 18”. Fabric color is more brown in person, LED overhead lighting in photos gives a green tint. I have two other model 655 chairs in a lovely original striped black & tan wool fabric, with restored frames and new foam in seats. See my other listings for details

Condition:

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor typical signs of use, original foam in seats has stiffened from age and is a firm sit, useable and solid but recommend replacing. One dowel fit leg joint has a tiny bit of play.
