Career nights lead Notre Dame to four game win streak

 

SOUTH BEND, Ind — A pair of Sophomore's contribute career high in points in the 118-49 win over Eastern Michigan.

Since the back-to-back to losses to TCU and Utah, Head Coach Niele Ivey and her team have been locked in. first it was the 80-70 win in OT vs Texas. While beating Syracuse on the road, the Irish came home one week later and beat #2 UConn.

Sunday night, the Irish took care of Eastern Michigan with the help of Hannah Hidalgo's 27 points, but it was Emma Risch that gave Notre Dame a spark off the bench. Risch knocked down 7 threes and a career high 23 points. Joining Risch from the bench, Cassandre Prosper with a career high 20 points.

"I thought we came out with great energy, kind of a carryover from all the energy from Thursday night, which I was really proud of. We had six people in double figures, great balance. I thought our offense looked fantastic. Been working on a lot of things, spacing wise, and I thought they just came out ready to play. Defensively, did a great job of, you know, holding them below their average, but I just like the way we played together today," Head Coach Niele Ivey said.
