Wanderers Rugby Leadership Announced

Wanderers Rugby Leadership Announced

Guy Mullinor5 Jul 2018 - 19:00

New Director of Rugby and Club Head Coach for Aberdeen Wanderers RFC

Aberdeen Wanderers RFC are delighted to announce 2 new key positions for the club. Fraser Burr has been appointed Director of Rugby and Shaun Liddle as the Club Head Coach.

Fraser is taking on the newly created Director of Rugby role for the club to help drive the standard of rugby forward within Aberdeen Wanderers RFC and ensure the club’s ethos and philosophy is evident on the pitch.

Club President, Guy Mullinor, commented on the role “I am very pleased that Fraser has been selected into this new role at Wanderers. Fraser has a wealth of experience in developing leadership and a great knowledge of the sport, so having him on board will be a fantastic asset to the players, coaches and club”

Shaun has moved to the Club Head Coach role where he will be working with our 1st XV and other age groups in preparing the players for matches. After the success of last season’s Under 16s team that Shaun led, he will be using his skills across the club with both our youth and senior teams. Shaun will be working alongside our existing coaching team and Fraser in the continued development of rugby at Aberdeen Wanderers RFC.
