Once more under the direction of Jemima Parry-Jones, the Centre has undergone a substantial facelift and everything has been upgraded. Please come to visit.

The International Centre for Birds of Prey is situated on the outskirts of Newent, Gloucestershire.

It is home to the most significant Birds of Prey Collection in the world.

There are 110 aviaries and about 85 species ranging from the huge eagles and vultures, through to the tiniest of owls.

Falcons, hawks, buzzards, kites, caracaras and secretary birds all live and breed here in Gloucestershire.

The aviaries are barn like structures and house the breeding birds in great comfort regardless of the weather.

Hawk Walk

The Hawk Walk where the trained birds live was rebuilt for our 30th Anniversary and opened by HRH Princess Royal in September 1997.

This area gives superb photo opportunities with birds only a few feet away and no wire. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and delighted to answer questions.

Gardens

There are wonderful gardens with plants, shrubs, trees and seasonal planting. The flying ground is shaded by two walnut trees and approached by a new tree arbour, daily flying demonstrations take place here. Please telephone for dates and times.

Experience days, courses, corporate days and evenings are held throughout the year.
