Instacart president Carolyn Everson is leaving the delivery platform at the end of 2021 after just four months on the job.
Everson shared the news on Facebook, the platform where she headed up global advertising for a decade.
In her post, Everson said she and CEO Fidji Simo “both agreed that this was the best decision for the company and for me personally.”
In a statement, Simo said she is grateful for Everson’s contributions. She also noted the departure “was a mutual decision,” adding, “We believe it’s the right decision for both the company and Carolyn based on our priorities and the role she was looking for at this point in her career.”
