Hi

I have fitted my 5 speed Toyota conversion but dont like the very thick Toyota gear lever which looks non standard in my BJ8

Does anyone supply thinner gear levers with wooden gear knobs?

I could take apart the Toyota items which is full of rubber to damp down any vibrations, but hope this way would be easier.

Try searching eBay for “W58 shifter” (assuming you have a W58 gearbox). Quite a variety.

If you remove the thick rubber sleeve on the Toyota shifter you will have a thinner shifter. Re-thread the end and buy a wooden knob.
