Two Auburn offensive linemen have accepted invitations to the College Gridiron Showcase.
Darius James and Wilson Bell will be members of the All-Star and Select groups, respectively, at the showcase event held Jan. 6-10 at Greenhill School in Addison, Texas.
James, who began his career at Texas, started 10 games at right tackle this season and eight games at left tackle last season for the Tigers.
Bell, who was a graduate transfer from Florida State, started 18 games at guard for the Seminoles but played sparingly as a backup for Auburn this season.
They are the third and fourth Auburn players to take part in the CGS, which T.J. Neal attended last year and Robenson Therezie attended in 2015.
James and Bell give Auburn eight players to accept all-star event invitations, joining Austin Golson, who is going to the East-West Shrine Game, and Tyler Stovall, Ike Powell, Daniel Carlson, Tray Matthews and Tre' Williams, who are going to the Senior Bowl. Braden Smith has yet to accept his Senior Bowl invite.
