Former NPR news analyst Juan Williams signed a two million dollar contract with Fox News on Thursday, according to the LA Times.
Williams was terminated by National Public Radio on Wednesday after making controversial comments about Muslims on Fox News.
During a conversation about fears of terrorism with Bill O'Reilly, Williams is quoted as saying: "I mean, look, Bill, I'm not a bigot….But when I get on a plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they're identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous," Williams said.
The newspaper also notes that Williams, an author of books about the civil rights movement, said that it was not right to cast all Muslims as extremists.
Williams will now be featured exclusively on Fox News. He will also have a column on the network’s website.
