White Nationalists attend the Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville, VA

Members of a White Nationalist organization known as Vanguard America stand behind a police line during the ‘Unite the Right Rally’ in Charlottesville, VA. The political demonstration was held to protest the city’s decision to remove a Confederate Army statue from a local park. Violent clashes and brawls broke out between an anarchist group known as ANTIFA and white nationalists. One woman was killed when a car crashed into a crowd of protesters, and two State Troopers were died when their helicopter, which was observing the rally below, crashed suddenly.
