JWo reviewed Rachel’s Fresh Applesauce Recipe. 11/03/2012
I've made this several times and love how easy it is to end up with a GREAT taste! We like a super-smooth appleasauce, so I use my immersion blender right in the pot. Sugar can be adjusted according to taste/type of apples; can add cinnamon or red hots or as written: all are winners!

JWo reviewed Cathy Martin’s Creamy au Gratin Potatoes. 11/02/2012
Yummy, yummy comfort food. Made this tonight and am looking forward to a repeat! ABSOLUTELY GREAT as is, and should be a fantastic foundation for other "versions": with ham, or kick it up with cayenne pepper, chives, bacon...whatever. Yummy, yummy....warm and cheesy in the tummy!

JWo reviewed rowdy’s Onions Baked with Rosemary and Cream Recipe. 10/19/2012
Delicious! I fixed these as part of a BIG dinner; there were leftovers. The next day, cooked some cubed chicken breasts, yukon gold potatoes, carrots and a little parsley in chicken broth, added in the leftover onions and sauce and YUMMMY again as a super soup!

JWo reviewed Margy’s Delicious Greens and Ham. 06/15/2011
Local store had large bag of turnip greens on sale for 49 cents. Had never eaten or cooked greens before. Used bacon (didn't have ham on hand) and turned out GREAT! Big hit with whole family. Will definitely watch for that sale again!!!!

This was a huge hit - a colorful change of pace from the usual salads! Added a bit of cumin.

JWo reviewed Allrecipes Member’s Darlene's Black Bean and Corn Salad Recipe. 06/20/2009
A big hit! The guys in the house were scrapping the bowl in record time! The only alteration I made was adding some fresh chopped cilantro. They aren't big "bean salad" fans, so I told them it was dip and served it with chips. Fantastic - I'll be making this again soon, but will have to double the recipe.
