TL;DR:

TL;DR:

A hydrating body conditioner for your skin

I don't know what it is about nearly boiling-hot water cascading over me that puts me at ease. In between mentally writing that article I haven't even pitched and imagining a million hypothetical scenarios that will never happen, I somehow find time for my body care, much of which takes place in the shower. While my facial skin-care regimen is a robust routine full of serums, toners, sunscreen, and more, my body care is much simpler; it's composed of cleansing and the occasional exfoliation before the lotions and body butters are piled on post-shower.

Winter is like a plague for my skin, and sometimes, the lotions I use in the summer and fall don't transition well into the colder months. For that extra layer of moisture, I've started adding Olay's Rinse-Off Body Conditioner to put a little razzle-dazzle in my regimen.

After giving my body a thorough scrub in the shower, I squirt a quarter-size dollop of the creamy formula into my hands before slathering it on my body. The first time I used it, I immediately felt the difference between this and standard lotions. Though it's creamy and lightweight like many body moisturizers, when you rub it in, it has a consistency similar to hair conditioner as it coats your skin. I let it sit on my skin for two or three minutes, similar to what I would do with my hair conditioner, and then rinsed it off. I actually felt the shea butter and nourishing vitamin B3 turning my skin into the softest, smoothest version of itself.

Because I'm big on lotion, I still like to add an extra layer of lotion outside the shower after using this product, especially on very cold days. And while I doubt I'm going to create a full 10-step body-care routine, Olay's Rinse-Off Body Conditioner is definitely a necessary new step.
