A Blank Map Thread

Does anybody have a map of europe with it's historic/provincial divisions in each country? For example, the historic counties of england, the rpovinces of spain or france, etc...?

The problem with that is that they often didn't stay the same over time, you know.

I can't remember if Qazaq ever posted the blank version of his uberhuge map. So I ended up remaking it from scratch for use in my timeline. Here it is, anyway.
I am still working on my BAM world map, but have sidelined it here and there due to fleeing from hurricanes, taking care of personal affairs, other map projects, and now transferring stuff from my old laptop to my new one I have just gotten for my birthday the other day. I am currently slogging my way thru Africa, which is the remaining continent left to do. Smart idea to post a version w/o borders for those who prefer it, glad you left the little inset map of Hawai'i in there. I have actually drawn the Hawai'ian islands freehand, BTW.

You're rather amazing.

I know. I was thinking the modern accepted versions of the provinces (the UK's revised ones excluded). I understand how this would be a problem, however.

So, here's one...

Does anyone have a map about the size, scope, and detail of Gryphon's map on page 107 (Europe, North Africa, Near East), but with, say, not-horrible 1936 borders?

The cities and towns of New Hampshire.

Wouldn't most of them be the same as OTL? Though I guess there were some splits and stuff (for example, down near my neck of the woods, Norwell is part of Scituate)

There have been splits, and there are also some towns in the Boston area and also in the Quabbin that are on this map but no longer exist.

Hey Qazaq, when you get around to finishing the BAM, could I request secondary internal divisions of the countries of the world (county-level and equivalent)?

Hi,
I would like to request a map of Groß-Deutschland, with the following states:
8780e3d3.png

But with the following additions:
*Luxembourg
*the East Prussia extended as it was in 1943 (without changing Posen's or West Prussia's borders)
*The Sudetenland annexed onto Bavaria, Saxony, Silesia, and the Austrian states Ober-Donau and Nieder-Donau (another map, map 3), so that German Bohemia goes to Saxony, German Moravia to Silesia
*Austrian States from 1866/1914 integrated into Germany: Vorarlberg, Tirol, Salzburg, Ober-Österreich, Nieder-Österreich, Kärnten, Steiermark, Krain (Carniola), Mähren, Böhmen, Austrian Silesa (joined to German Silesia), Slovenia

Many thanks in advance,

James

I will see what I can do, if I ever get the dang BAM finished.:D:D However it might be tough to depict second level internal divisions accurately for most areas of the world even at the scale of the BAM, what w/ the resolution limit set by the pixel size in the image. Some of the larger second level internal divisions could be shown accurately, due to their large territorial extent, BUT most won't be shown very well due to their small territorial size, so therefore I may only be able to show some, but unfortunately not all of them.
