Separatist/Autonomist Movements of the World Map Thread

This thread will host a map that shows most of the active separatist movements in the world, and those which strive for greater autonomy. The following guidelines have been used in its creation:

• I've used Wikipedia as my source, however if you believe you can find a separatist movement from a more reliable source feel free to add it.
• If the same territory is claimed by an autonomist and a separatist group, the separatist group is given priority.
• If the same terrtiroy is claimed by a large separatist group and a group of smaller groups, the smaller groups are given priority, as can be seen with Idel-Ural.
• I've tried to hand-draw some of the borders, meaning places such as Spain will seem wonky. If you could patch those areas, that'd be great.

That's the problem. The Next-Gen Worlda's colour scheme does not have very many colours.

Here's version 0.2 of the map!

CHANGELOG:

• I have changed the colour scheme to Drex's colour scheme, so many countries that did not previously have colours now do have colours.
• I have added Punjab and Alaska. Not sure how those slipped by me...
• La Rioja has been removed.
• To better show the groups in China, the RoC claim line has been removed.

This looks very cool! I feel like a lot of the Native American movements were left out and India might need a bit more, but otherwise this is fantastic!

i started this wayyyyyy back in inkscape showing all the capitals and i even have a seperate document with all the countries, flags, area, population in 2019, seperatist polical party, and governing ideology
here it is at its current state. not sure if its what you need but here it is anyway

No offense, but I believe mine is better because I do actually distinguish between separatist movements and autonomist movements. Plus, mine shows a good number of movements yours leaves out (e.g. Siberia).

You seem to have forgotten Northern Ireland, which actually has two separatist movements - the Irish Republicans and the (much smaller) Ulster Independence Movement.

What about the Greater Ural Republic? In theory, it would include not only the Sverdlovsk region, but Perm, Chelyabinsk, Orenburg and Kurgan regions as well.
