I ordered these blackout curtains for my home office to cover up a patio door. The old curtains were not the right fit (see picture). Now that I'm working from home I needed something to cut down on the glare since my computer screens are directly in line with the patio door. I read the reviews and rolled the dice. These are extremely affordable so I had no expectations. Worst case, I could return them. Fortunately I am absolutely and completely happy with my purchase. The curtains are exactly what I needed and add a nice look to the whole wall. The material is very soft and the silver lines are quite elegant (not gaudy).
As you can see by the before and after picture, the different is quite literally day and night (unfortunately my iPhone insisted on brightening the after photo). Still, you see zero light penetrating through. This is NOT the case with the old curtains, which have a plastic coating on the back to "block" light. Also not the case for other blackout curtains I have in the house. Needless to say, I'm impressed by the light blocking. I'm more impressed, surprisingly to me, by how much heat is kept in. The old curtains (ill fitting as they were) didn't keep the heat in as much. There's a hugely noticeable difference now. The floor in front of the patio door is warm right up to the wall. That was not the case with the previous curtains.
These curtains are EXACTLY as advertised. In fact, I'm so happy with these that I've already ordered several more sets as I start to replace every curtain set in the house with Deconovo's blackout curtains. That may all sound like marketing crap, but I assure you (one stranger to another) it is all true. I don't write many reviews. These curtains - the quality, the price, the value they bring - are worth me taking the time to post an unsolicited review. I'm that happy with them.
