    Best Ridley Scott movie to date!

    Haters are gunna hate and people are gonna bitch, it is impossible to please everyone that is just the way of the world. I say this because there is a lot of controversy surrounding this movie which I do not see why. People being upset due to the skin color of the actors when it is set in Egypt. I personally find this a bit of a nitpick but that is just me, I did not really care, it's just a movie and a different interpretation. I adored this movie as did my girlfriend who saw it with me. Christian Bale killed it as Moses, he was very believable and brought his well known passion to the screen taking charge, I was fully on board with it. Joel Edgerton was very good as Ramses as well but he rarely gives a bad performance. The cinematography was stunning and just felt epic while you watched it which is a common theme with Ridley Scott. The script was very good and I really liked how they tried to ground the movie especially during the 10 plagues. The color pallet of the movie was also very well done and well chosen, the very dusty and sandy colors contrasting with the gold of Egypt. I will definitely be putting this in my library of movies, definitely one of the better movies of 2014 in my humble opinion.
