Great Product
Great product. It rises the back of the laptop by about 2" which is very useful in allowing the bottom intakes to suck fresh air to cool the laptop. This method is actually better than having a cooling pad and I noticed a decrease of about 2-3 degrees of Celsius in my gpu temperature vs having a cooling pad with fans.Also the looks of this product is very minimalist and the typing experience is way better than having a very raised laptop platform when using a cooling pad.

    I liked the concept that it was very simple and easily packed for a trip to the library or coffee shop. My biggest problem is that I own an Alienware x17 R1 and it's probably one of the heaviest laptops on the market at over 7lbs or 3.20kg. It's probably super sturdy for any 15in and most 17in laptops but I wanted something more robust.

    With upgrades it's over $3k USD so it would be nice to have something aesthetic and functionality to match the price. Please make something similar but a much sturdier version with better rubber feet and slightly higher in the rear. The cross brace on this one was way too flimsy and when I was lifting my laptop it accidently slipped and fell onto the brace.

    Otherwise, I'd say for most other people I would strongly recommend this stand.

    This is one of the cheapest and flimsiest pieces of junk I've ever purchased off Amazon. And the price was about $40 CAD which is complete horse S***. I left two stars, 1 star for mere existence and for showing up at my house, 2nd start because it basically functions. Very likely going back.

    First it's flimsey as hell. Second, the threads were on the tightener were stuck and I had to open it with a wrench and scratched the aluminum. Third, I cannot get the legs the same length. And lastly, the little hard plastic lips that sit under the front of the laptop sit right under where my forearms go while typing and they are scratching up my arms.

    I can't remember the last time I've taken the time to review something. I would have been satisfied if I had paid $13.99, but it was $40 something CAD. DO NOT BUY THIS.

    I've enjoyed using the JUBOR Portable Laptop Stand and sometimes wonder how I ever got along without it. It tilts the laptop just a little, making it easier to type on a confined space, and it lifts the computer off the desk or table just enough so that cool air can flow underneath as well as above, thus helping to keep the laptop cooler during heavy workouts. It folds up compactly so that it can be easily carried in your hand, or tucked into a laptop carrying case for traveling from one location to another. It's a great little gadget!

    - Es ligero, tiene un buen diseño y al momento de cerrar el soporte, ocupa muy poco espacio. Es útil para llevarlo de viaje o en la mochila.
    - A pesar de que el recubrimiento es de plástico, no se siente desechable o de baja calidad. Todo lo contrario
    - Tiene una posición adecuada para tener la laptop a la altura de la cara. Así que cumple la función de evitar dolores en el cuello de tener tanto tiempo la computadora en una posición baja.
    - Según el empaque, soporta hasta dispositivos de 17''. Yo tengo una matebook D15, de 15.6" y cabe perfecto y no se siente frágil o inestable.

    Como punto negativo:
    - Creo que el soporte sería perfecto si no fuera porque no tiene mayor variedad de ajustes para la altura del soporte. Únicamente cuenta con dos ajustes ya definidos. Si bien, ambas alturas son buenas, me hubiera gustado tener mayor control de ellas y poderlas ajustar a mi gusto.

    En general, creo que es un excelente soporte, si buscas algo barato, que cumpla su función y sin tantas complicaciones. Además, la forma y el mecanismo de cierre es muy bueno para poderlo llevar a varios lados, pues no ocupa mucho espacio. El diseño es elegante y se ve resistente a pesar de ser de plástico. Le doy 5 estrellas, justo por que es funcional y me gustó. Sin embargo, si necesitas más alturas para ajustar, lamentablemente no es la opción.

    Per my original review I wasn't very happy with the rubber grips on this laptop stand because they would fall off. I was contacted and sent a newer updated version of the stand and it is 100% better and super easy to use. The rubber grips are now permanent to the stand and it works FLAWLESSLY. I've taken this stand in my carry on to a conference and received several compliments on the stand. The newest version is well worth the money and is super low profile and doesn't take up too much room in your bag (must like the first). I am very pleased with the update and really appreciate the customer service.

    I would give this product 5 stars if it wasn't for the rubber grips that you fold out that catch your laptop. THEY DON'T STAY ON. It's a hassle when they fall off and I have to take my laptop off the stand, snap the grips back on. Or I have to go digging in my bag to find one or both of them because they fell off when they were in my backpack. I've even tried hammering them ever so lightly, thinking that they just needed a good whack/snap to get into place. But it doesn't work. The grips ALWAYS fall off.

    This issue has made the stand more cumbersome to deal with because i'm searching for the grips and/or always putting them back on. I've been using the stand sans grips, but they BARELY catch my laptop. I would have better peace of mind with the grips. And besides they SHOULD work anyway.

    Product may rise the laptop off the table, but not exactly to the height you need. The adjustable factor is more to the size of the laptop rather than the height or angle. And the tip where it holds the laptop from sliding eventually becomes an irritable bump on your wrist.
