    I'll say upfront that I have no idea if this thing sanitizes or not--I bought it for hair care. I have locs, and I bought this with moisturizing in mind. On that front, it's just ok. It's not a complete waste of money--it DOES work, and it hasn't broken. But there are a couple of things that don't make it ideal:
    It's heavy. It was difficult to maneuver while using it on my own head, but it was easier to use on my son's locs.
    Also, the trigger turns it on, but it STAYS on until you squeeze the trigger again. That's awkward, because I'm used to squeezing for a long as I need the spray. When I let go, I expect it to stop. The fact that it keeps going when I let go always startles me. Probably because that's awkward and counter-intuitive.
    All in all, it's just ok. I use it occasionally, but it's not really worth it, for my purposes. It's not worth returning--especially since it does work. But if there's someone out there who's wanting something for your hair, don't bother with this--a spray bottle with water is nearly as effective, since that's pretty much all this does.
