    I was very hesitant to go with this mop system because of the price, but I was wary of some of the cheaper alternatives due to the spinning part being plastic and seeing negative reviews about that, and I liked that this was stainless steel. I also really liked that this had a double bucket instead of just one. When I received it, I did have a defective handle and I reached out to the seller, who was very nice and helpful, and they promptly sent out a replacement. To my surprise, they sent me two mop handles and extra mop heads!

    I am very pleased with the ease and performance of this mopping system, and all 3 of my kids like using it too and ask to mop and "fight" over whose turn it is lol. I would definitely recommend the Hurricane Spin Mop Bucket Kit, and the customer service was fantastic!

    Remember that classic mop that your family inherited from your grandparents? This is NOT that mop. This is a mop designed by someone with a passing interest in cosmetic design and no practical experience in cleaning a floor.

    Where to begin? Well, the mop handle - the point of contatc as it were - is woefully short. I am only 5ft 10 and I spent an intensely uncomfortable time stooped over cleanign my floors. Another 12 inches minimum, and ideally 24 inches would have been infinitely more comfortable. This handle is only just long enough to get a purchase on while standing up, and if you want to bear down on a stubborn spot then you will end up on your knees using the mop head mano-a-mano with the floor.

    The spin idea is interesting, but when you spin it the damp mop sprays dirty water up over the trough so that you will now also have to clean your cabinet doors.

    I don't know about you, but in this pat of the world water flows downhill and has a predictable way of finding its way out of buckets if they have glaringly obvious holes in them. So, the cut-out in the side of the spin bucket will allow the water to not only flow back into the 'clean' side of this thing, but also out sideways so that the floor you are cleaning gets a second round of wet.

    Speaking of holes, there is a drain hole at the bottom of the spin-side bucket through which I am sure the designer imagines the user draining out the dirty water. It would have worked so much better had the bung actually fitted the hole. Surprise! That gives you round three of the dirty water onto your clean floor!

    Oh, and don't use the handles. If you do they band and snap off the bucket. SURPRISE!! Your floor now gets a 4th drenching with the dirty water. So, after 4 washes including spittle, sweat, and curse overflow yes, your floor will be clean. Next time I am going to spend $5 on a long wooden stick and a ball of tangled string, just like my forefathers used.

    DO NOT BUY THIS. I did and I am the laughing stock of my wife and her friends. It is not only defective in so many ways it has actually reduced the quality of my life. I would have been better off not ordering it, or burning it in the back yard as soon as it arrived.

    I don’t write reviews. I just give stars for a product. But this I had to comment on this bucket set. I brought this July of 2019. I really liked this because it separated in two parts, that way you didn’t have to wring dirty water back in the clean water. It worked great for almost a year. A couple of weeks ago it was really hard for me to spin the mop in the bucket side and I thought my mop was broken, but when I used it on the spin side it worked perfectly fine. Now the bucket side won’t spin at all. For $50. I think it should have lasted a little longer. 21 days short of a year old.

    I use this mop 5 hours per week, so it gets more wear and tear than a regular household would. I would recommend it for a single home. Pros: rings out dirty water, stacks well, mop solution pump, the spin is fantastic and rings out most of the water so your floors dry quickly. Cons: valve leaks when floor has any texture, mop spin disengages in the handle. It takes a lot of time to fix and fight with the mop handle and leaves my floors too wet. Probably needs to be replaced.
