5.0 out of 5 stars great game
Verified Purchase4 yo boy plays this game. Easy to navigate, needs some help in unlocking levels. Parent friendly game. Goes well with the hot wheels wall track and the videos that he has been watching online.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good game, with a few minor issues
Verified PurchaseThe program is pretty nice. It is a good racing program, but has some problems with its physics engine. There are times you aren't really sure which way you're going. The graphics are a little bit on the amateurish side...but most kids won't care. If you're an adult buying this to re-live some of your days of playing with those great old orange tracks and your favorite HotWheels car...then it's enjoyable. If, however, you're a stickler for smooth, highly refined graphics then you're probably going to be a bit disappointed with this. Mario Cart Wii has far better graphics (for example).

1.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as other racing games inc. other hot wheels wii
Verified PurchaseWe have had Hot Wheels Beat That by Activision Inc. for a couple of years now and have spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours playing it (I have two boys and I still love video games too). So you should know I am comparing this game to that one. Compared to Beat That this game is very boring. The graphics are noticeably poorer quality and unimaginative. In Beat That you feel like you are in there driving, with this one it feels cheap and uninspired. The choices for races are limited as are the cars. The control is more difficult than the many other racing games we own and there is no option for using the nunchuk for steering (which I feel offers greater control. This game has been shelved after an hour of play and has sat there collecting dust. In our opinion this was quickly thrown together (the cover is more exciting than the game). Hope this helps!

5.0 out of 5 stars My son loves this game!
Verified PurchaseMy son is 7 and this game was easy enough for him to figure out, but challenging enough to keep him interested as well. He loves seeing some of the cars he has 'come to life' in this game.

3.0 out of 5 stars Poorly designed menus
Verified PurchaseMy son was so excited to get this game after saving up all his chore money. Once we got it and started playing we quickly learned the menus were not very easy to navigate for someone his age (5). He's not had any problems with any other racing games being able navigate menus. This one was particularly frustrating for him. Enough so that he was done playing after just a day. Once you get the race tracks, the game is a fun game, but just getting there is some work for a younger child.
