These lights are great! Super easy to install and to set up with the app and the app is very easy to learn. They Connected right away to my Alexa system, after a quick registration, and it was easy to program it to turn on with the rest of my lights.
While installation was easy. We ran out of clips to hold the strip to the house because of all the corners. Luckily I had ordered two sets of lights and I was able to use a bag of clips from the other set.
I emailed support and let them know what I had to do. They were very accommodating. Lydia asked the right questions and they came up with solutions. I needed extra long cables to connect from the receiver to the light strip and they sent me what I needed and those cables worked right away and they replaced the clips that I had to use from the second set with no extra charge.
The only downside was waiting for Canada post to make the delivery.

Easy installation
1. Clean the surface to be mounted.
2. Remove the protective film from the light strip adhesive and stick it to the wall.
3. Install the clips and screw in the screws.
Cutting

2. After cutting, please put glue on the cut area and insert the protective case.
3. Leave it for 12h and wait for the glue to bond.

I chose these lights because they are specifically outdoor lights - with the expectation that they would be able to stay up here around and simply be used on specific holidays. Having put them out last Christmas they worked quite nicely for the first season but this year as we come to try them ahead of the holiday season I have found that some of the coloured lights are no longer working so they did not even last one year. When I went to problem, solved within the Magic Home app, the solution I was sent was to tell the seller the problem that I was having which they identified as a hardware issue, but the return window here is closed. So basically, I now have to buy new lights again this year and have them reinstalled on my house. So, no, these lights are not durable, and while the functionality was nice, it did not last more than one season, and clearly, the quality leaves a lot to be desired.
