    My ceiling fan was blowing a fuse every time I turned the lights on. While the bulbs seemed the appropriate wattage for the sockets, I needed a lower wattage solution and these bulbs did the trick. While the dimming is not as pronounced as regular bulbs, it did work for me.

    Supposed to be "dimmable" but when I put it in my lamp, which has a dimmer switch that works fine with incandescents, there is no gradient transition between the levels of brightness... In other words ...it don't dim too well!

    These illuminated a large hard to light kitchen in the best way. Purchased the adapter to allow these chandelier based lights to be used in a standard base fixture. If used near salt water apply electric grease to the threading on everything. Otherwise after 10+ years when you need to remove the burned light, there will be no corrosion problems.

    Installed these in a ceiling fan light in our house. They start out nice and bright, but within months they start to lose their brightness and eventually just quit working. Each bulb lasted for no longer than 1 year. I will not buy these kind again. I went to local hardware store and purchased a different brand of LED bulb instead.
