Lasted only 1,000 hours (about 8 months at average 4 hours per day). Flashes on and off once a second. This badly designed bulb has an aluminium heat dissipation collar screwed to its plastic base by a screw thread the same direction as the bulb base, which means that when you unscrew the bulb to take it out of its holder the bulb comes apart in your hands and you need a pair of needle nosed pliers to get the bulb base out of your light fitting. I used to buy cheap bulbs and got disappointed when they failed, but at £11.99 this was an expensive experience.
