Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Great film - all the characters were believable and realistic. It conveyed the loyalty and brotherhood of these "firms" brilliantly and managed many comic moments.
All in all, very true to life - no characters were unbeleivable.
Tip for Ms McDonald - don't buy a film about football hooligans and complain when its violent. I don't like what they do, nobody does, but your apparent dislike of hooliganism is irrelevant when reviewing the quality of the film. It matters not whether you liked it or not - its was the film that you were supposed to be reviewing.
This film is the perfect one in its genre. Forget Green Street Hooligans which kind of glorifies the whole thing. This is the one and only film you should see when it comes to this subject. It has its fun sides as well as the very serious and shows just how far out the real hooligans are - the ones that only care about fighting and not about the beatiful game - and Danny Dyer does it so well.
Bought this as a nostalgic throwback to a film from when I was a teenager and it didn’t let me down. Danny Dyer at his best/worst, and I love it. Not exactly a classic you can watch over and over again, but there’s something truly great about it in its own little way.
I really love Danny Dyer’s films and this one is not the exception. The acting is great and the plot is easy to understand. The best is the Blu-Ray disc is “REGION FREE” and I can watch it with no problems here in South America. I wish there were more Danny Dyer’s films available in "Region Free" format. ;)
This is a classic hooligan movie. A absolute must see for those that know about the subculture. If I had one complaint I wish that it came in Blu-ray or 4K. I’d even take a digital copy. Might want to get one now before they become hard to find and the price goes up
