Who started Manic Panic?

    Beautiful colour!
    Went from blonde to blue, had a great time. Found some braiding hair that was actually a very similar colour so it blended while in a protective style! After the first couple of washes in colder water, it basically refuses to fade 2 and a half months later (though I only wash my hair once per week max). I hope they never stop making this colour, the others are too green or too blue and I cba with mixing my own.

      I usually use live hair dye on my daughters hair, but she wanted different colours that they don't do so thought I would give manic panic a go.
      I found the hair dye easy to use, I liked the fact you get a lot more hair dye and you can reuse for top ups.
      The pink didn't show up as pink as I would have liked but over all my daughter is very happy, already getting lots of compliments when out and about.
      I have ordered a hot hot pink to go over the (cotton candy pink)
      I haven't washed her hair yet since dying her hair so I'm hoping it does last, but I like the fact I do have dye left over to top up if needed.
      My daughter is 21 (not a child) just needs help as she has disabilities.

      Quick update, I bought the hot hot pink as my daughter wanted the pink to pop more and she is very happy with the result, all the other colours washed well too.

      I bought this item after deciding I wanted to dye my hair for the first time. I had done some research and found Manic Panic to be a well recommended dye.
      I was reluctant to bleach my hair and in the end decided not too. I have a naturally darkish blonde hair colour and decided to just give it a try without bleaching. I was incredibly impressed, the colour did come out darker than the picture of the swath of hair shows but that's what I expected. The colour was brilliant! It's also really easy to do yourself and I managed to do it easily having never dyed my hair before. YouTube and the Manic Panic website have great tutorials if needed!
      It was about 3/4 weeks before I had to reapply to keep the colour which I was more than happy to do as it doesn't damage the hair.
      As it fades, it fades to a lovely light blue/green colour. I am more than happy with the product and am waiting for the colour to fade before ordering a new one.
      The dye came in great time and the pot had enough for me to dip dye my waist length hair over half way up three times (with there still being some left). I would recommend it to anyone.

      I have used manic panic dyes a long time and this one on several occassions. Tonight we had an experience I am not in a hurry to repeat. Having washed out till the water ran clean I got in the shower.... The colour ran a little in water.. nothing unusual. What was unusual is the tinge of blue it left over my skin.. from top to feet. Scrubbed with soapy water. Isopropanol and some parts of me are still slightly blue. This has been a nightmare I am not keen to repeat. The dyes are great but this experience... not so much!! My mum has laughed so much at me that shes had stomach cramps. Never again. Both our hands are blue hers where it has gone through the gloves. What the hell is in this to do this to skin I don't know but never had this issue with any dye before.

      Of all the red dyes I've tried this one has been the best! I've tried every shade of red from: Manic Panic, Arctic Fox, Lunar tides, Pulp Riot, Lime Crime, Adore and a few other brands. It has a vibrant red multidimensional glow to it in the sun but it looks blood red indoors. It does fade quickly if you take hot showers and shampoo daily. If you like to wash your hair daily use luke warm water and cowash instead of shampoo it lasts for weeks between touch ups.
