Product description

Why Do Fools Fall In Love is one of the most memorable singles from the rock and roll era. It is also the precursor to one of the longest running sagas and dramas in music history. Whilst the central character in all this is Frankie Lymon, the supporting cast have also contributed much to ensure the story remains as intriguing today as when it commenced. This album was the groups debut, originally released in 1956 when they were all fresh-faced teenagers. It kicks off with the international smash and also contains a further four extracted singles in I Want You To Be My Girl, I Promise To Remember, The ABCs Of Love and Im Not A Teenage Delinquent. Whilst none matched the sheer explosive enjoyment of that debut single, there is much to still savour.
