This is a useful rain hat that does the job. However, I am glad I heeded the other reviews and opted for a size larger than I normally take. It is certainly smaller than advertised.That said, the hat is well made and waterproof.

    The media could not be loaded.
    I wanted something to cover my head when I have to pop out and it's raining. Nothing cumbersome, something that could easily be folded and tucked in a pocket when not needed. So I thought I'd give this a go.

    My head is 61CM, and the XXL size fits perfectly. Looks wise it is understated, which is what I wanted, but it does have the classic bucket look down to a tee. Personally, I love the waxy scent it has. It's comforting, reassuring, and keeps the rain out. The inner headband is padded for a snug fit w/o discomfort.

    One lovely little touch that isn't shown in the photos is the lining. A classic tartan that fits the colour of the hat - see video.

    All in all, very happy. I look forward to wearing it in those autumnal showers.
