UPDATE: Died 4 months after install - Ditch provided screws, cord is very short... Looks nice...
UPDATE: Light strip has died after less than 4 months of usage. Past the return time, don't waste your time with these...In my photo, you'll see this led strip light on the right side of the photo, it is mounted under the edge of the deck boards... I thought I read that these were 12/24v lights with a AC to DC converter... I was mistaken, but didn't realize it until I cut the cord and had to splice it back together. It worked out, because I used that as an opportunity to extend the cord by about 8 feet or so. I had hoped to tie these in with the stair step lights that are on a photocell timer to come on at dusk and turn off after 3 hours. Unfortunately I had to plug these in to a GFCI protected outlet with no easy access to the switch that is pre-wired in, but I do plan to add a 120v photocell in the future. Overall I'm very pleased with these and the brightness, it works well for my needs.

In my photo, you'll see this led strip light on the right side of the photo, it is mounted under the edge of the deck boards... I thought I read that these were 12/24v lights with a AC to DC converter... I was mistaken, but didn't realize it until I cut the cord and had to splice it back together. It worked out, because I used that as an opportunity to extend the cord by about 8 feet or so. They use ~25W.
There are a couple of downsides - firstly, the screws that come with the fastening brackets are very small and clumsy, and secondly, they seem likely to rust. I plan to use brass screws instead. Secondly, the frequency of the light is exactly the same as the camera on my phone ... meaning that when taking a photo in or near the lights, the camera will end up with bars (see photos).

This is a nice set of indoor/outdoor waterproof lights. They can operate on between 110 and 240V (just in case you want to take them overseas!). They are warm-white in colour, and are insulated end to end, with the exception of the power cord.
