Without supplemental fasteners it's a house of cards!
I would NOT trust the steel poles to stay put without some kind of fasteners. (See the photo of the apex pole that kept popping out during set-up.) To make sure that the poles would not pop free and land on my car, I got the machine screws shown. Also used a cordless drill with a brand new 3/16" drill bit. That sharp new bit made it go a LOT faster, as did the wing-nuts! ABSOLUTELY NO WAY would I have people underneath it (say for a picnic) as it comes! That's asking for a lawsuit. It's too flimsy. Once again: these are *steel* poles, folks, with sharp edges on either end. Steel joints, too.Roof assembly was a breeze with the text-free pictorial instructions. It was actually kind of fun. Each pole is labeled A, B, or C. I am a bit skeptical of reviewers who claim that they put it up on its legs without assistance, because that's when even fully-seated tubes started popping out. After assembly I decided that I wanted it shorter, and removing a section was easy. With two sections instead of three, the length is thirteen feet four inches (13' 4"). I expected the extra cover to be a mess, but I just gathered it and fastened it to the poles with the bungee fasteners provided, and it turned out as you see on the first try --good enough for me. For somebody who wants it to be an intermediate length (i.e. between 13 and 20 feet), it would be no big deal to shorten three of the B-poles with a hacksaw.I also ordered a set of these weight bags. I installed the feet so that the legs would not slip out of the weight bags if it gets windy.Service? What service? I called the phone number that came with the kit, got through to a human being, and stated that "I have a question about the Car Canopy 3x6m." The lady said, "Go ahead." I asked what the holes in the A-poles were for. She chuckled and replied "I really don't know." The dialogue thereafter was straight from a Monty Python skit: "Is there anyone there who DOES know?" "Let me check, Sir." No one could answer the question, and whenever she cancelled her mute I could hear other ladies laughing in the background. Which was to be expected with the variations on that question that we came up with. It turns out that that place in Michigan is a call center for several different manufacturers and their products. She advised me to try e-mailing the address provided and said that the e-mail goes to China. My rating is an average (of 1 and 5 stars) because now that it's done my way, I am pleased with the finished product just for keeping some sun off of my car.

I am an expert on popups and 10x20 garage style tents. I've owned a dozen and each and why? they all collapse. Not this baby. this tent is the sturdiest , best designed, best built 10x20 I have ever seen. it's huge and heavy and thats a plus. the pipes are extra large and extra thick, the leg pads are bolted on, all the pipes are ONE PIECE. no small sections all pieced together, the tops, the sides the legs...all one piece instead of 2 or 3 . 8 legs instead of 6. the top is very heavy duty, very very well made, velcro in the corners, lots of well made little bungees. I have ordered the sides and I cant wait to get them. you truly get what you pay for. highly recommended

This car port was very easy to assemble. It appeared sturdy. We purchased this as advertised as a car port thinking we could park under it to protect our car from snow and ice. It didn't even hold up to our first snow fall this year in Central New York. Then poles buckled and the car port fell on and damaged our car. We are now without the car port and have to pay repairs on our vehicle. It is great as a warm weather tent/shade but should not be used as a car port.

Went up in about 15-20 minutes with one person. Should be a breeze if you have 2+ helpers. If you follow the order described in the instructions you shouldn't have any problems. The most time consuming part is hooking in all of the little ball bungees. I was shorted 1 bungee which is marginally disappointing. The structure seems more than strong enough to support itself. The included parts for staking it down are not great but it is important to do so it might be best to pre-plan for your own solution. The cover did not appear to have any holes or rips and it is already shedding rain as it should. My standard cab full size pickup truck fits under it perfectly.

I purchased this product to provide a cover for an existing 10 x 20 foot deck at a vacation rental. It was delivered in a timely manner and all of the parts were included and were in good condition. My daughter-in-law and I assembled and erected it in about 3 hours. We secured all of the footplates to the deck with bolts (not provided). We used hurricane tie-downs at the four corners and reinforced the structure with parachute cord. We also attached it to the side of the house at the corners with the cord. It looks good and is an addition to the outdoor area of the property. This property lost 18 large pine trees in Hurricane Michael so we are not unrealistic in our expectations. If we get one season out of it we will be grateful.

I needed an outdoor cover for my new electric car. I specifically wanted protection for my electrical connections during the winter rains. I choose tha Abba 10'X20' patio tent in spite of the reviews that the poles would not stay connected in strong winds. I wondered why they didn't use push button snap locks to secure all of the pole connections. Nonetheless, I was ready to buy bolts to reinforce the pole connections. I thought I'd have to drill holes in all of the poles to do this. I was pleasantly surprised when my package arrived to find that they do have snap button locks for all of the pole connections. I'm not sure if this is a recent design improvement or not but, I would not have given a 5 star rating without it.

Some reviews said the instructions were confusing. This was not my experience. I found them clear and easy to follow. I do not recommend trying to put this together by yourself. It does take at least 2 people to assemble. I installed mine on a cement driveway so I used cement bolts to secure the tent to the ground. The cover is pretty much equal to the quality of a plastic (stranded) paint tarp. Mine was delivered with one defect. One of the tarp rivets was crushed. I had to buy a rivet kit for about $10 at the local hardware store to replace it. I'm not holding it against Abba since I didn't give them a chance to rectify the problem. It wasn't worth the wait for me.

They dropped the ball on this one, they need to do the same as they did on the 10x20 light duty 6 leg model, I'm am trying to figure out how to make sure that the holes I drill into the parts are all the same, because I will be using the tent during emergency situations and moving all the time, the thing is very sturdy, in fact fedex could not destroy it. Guess I will weld nuts on the conector parts and use thumb screws to tighten against the poles, just a whole lot of work. Shame on you Abba

False advertising. This item is short on all dimensions. This was advertised as a 10x20ft shelter. It is a 3x6METER shelter. Big difference. It measures out in actual assembled dimension to 9.5 x 19.25ft. this is wrong even by metric standards.
It is too big of a pain in the neck to repackage and send back, although I am about ready so to do.
I have put up so many of these things over the years and didn't bother with the directions. They are so easy to assemble. In reviewing the instructions, it clearly states that it is a 3x6m canopy.
The tarp is thin and I can tell it won't last very long. Next time, back to Shelter Logic for my canopy needs.
