Fits size 37 to 42 inch waist means they're size 42 inch waist.
These pants have no elastic or adjustment at all so you need to get your exact size to fit properly.After measuring i discovered that where the size chart says fits a size 37 to 42 inch waist means the pants are a size 42 inch in the waist so beware of that!I'm a size 37 inch waist exactly and I didn't want to get em to small so I ordered the ones that said fits size 37-42 inch waist and discovered that means they're a size 42 inch waist!But it's no big deal because I'm a crafty kind of person and I simply took them up in the back(see photo) and they fit fine now with room to let them out in the future if I ever gain weight and need to let them out again,ha ha!One other thing to mention is the little zippered side pocket had the material left covering the opening and I had to cut a slot through it(see photo) to be able to use it but no big deal.My overall opinion of these pants are they're a little over priced for plain cotton and the sewed up side pocket but I will get some use out of them being the kind of person who likes to solve problems and fix defects in new products I buy.
