The gems are nice, very sparkly no rough edges.Also received a cute pirate bag to put all the “treasure” in.Nice selection of different shapes.They were a little smaller than I hoped and I would have liked a better variety of colors.They are not flat on the bottom but they are flat on top.For the pearls, there is no hole, but they were three different sizes, which is nice.Overall not a bad buy, but seemed a little pricey to be honest.

    It's slightly expensive, but the real problem is that they are one sided. The other side is a dull silver. They look fine if you place them right side up, but you can't just spill them like you might some other treasure or they'll look very weird. These are static decorations, you can't use them as props or anything where they might move, or once again, they'll look weird. The pearls are nice though.

    These are ok but the picture shown does not quite give you the right idea. I could not find it in the description either. An altho the quality is just fine for the make believe gems, sadly only half of a gem is what you expect, the other half of all gems is a dull silver color (the reflective side). I guess these are fine for party favors and decorations but if you are using it to make pretend gems then the illusion is gone as soon as any of these gems flips to the “unpainted” side. A necessary finish for the shine mirror effect of the gem side and the price we are paying but disappointing nonetheless as I have seen better fakes (colored glass is the way to go).
    The pearls are great and come in 3 sizes.
