I do find, with my vision problems, that trying to read the bottom for "timer", since they are white letters on a white base, is challenging. Picking them up to turn them on requires careful handling.
That said, I can see a time in the future when I cut the fairy lights out and put an electric tea light in. Then all that would be required would be to open the front door, flip the tea light on, and close the front door.
So I will be careful in handling and enjoy the fairy lights until a time when I prefer a simpler setup. Then I can adapt them which makes these lanterns a wonderful purchase.
