A few tips for daily use on your new gas lift

1. Raise and lower your chair regularly - adjust it regularly to get some lubrication for the exposed parts. Increase durability and protect your gas lift.

2. Try to minimize the downward impact on the chair. Do not sit down forcibly or stand on the chair. This is very unsafe.

3. It is not recommended to exceed the maximum load capacity of this product for long periods of time and more than 270 LBS is outside the safety range of the chair. This accelerates the ageing of the gas lift

Our gas piston is a Class Three product. The limit weight is 270 LBS, which is about 125KG.

You can use it on gaming chairs, office chairs or any other swivel chairs you want. Please note that the adjustable measurement is 9.5-12.6 inches (Stroke3.15 inches), Under Base Extension 0.6 inches.

Replace a gas lift/ gas piston/gas cylinder, your chair can last longer.

Installation is very easy, just take off the original old gas lift and replace it with the new one.

    This does what it is supposed to do. Note that this part is not intended to be user-replaceable. You will need a pipe wrench, a rubber mallet or ballpeen hammer, and some WD-40 to remove the old cylinder from your chair. Go on YouTube and look for some instruction videos to found out how to do it.

    If you're patient and have some arm strength then this product can help you get new life out of a sinking office chair.

    The installation was hard. I can't blame this product for that. It was very difficult to get the old piston out. I essentially had to destroy it.

    After 1 year of usage on my original chair, the spring was finicky. It would go down little by little on its own and wouldn't stay. After hours of figuring out how to remove the original spring, setting this one up was easy. First time using it i noticed the difference immediately. It felt powerful, would prop the chair up really fast and when i wanted it to go down it also did it fairly smoothly.

    How i removed the spring: Given how much of a pain it was, i wanted to share my experience and solution. My chair is practically all metal, so the spring was in there. Taking it off from the base (wheels) was fairly simple. I removed the pin underneath the spring, which allowed me to removed part of the spring from the upper part of the chair. I then flipped it over and placed it on a floor with some ledge. Then i hammered the spring from the underside ( which was flipped) and it easily fell off.

    The part of the spring attached to the chair, i used some wd-40 ( idk if it even did anything) and a wrench. I then twisted it to remove it. I needed my dad to lend me his strength, between the both of us, 3 hands total to push the wrench down, we managed to finally remove it. Now, this part will be easy if you have some grip and forearm muscle. I don't have alot of upper body strength, which made this harder for me.
