    I bought this for knee pain to replace the icy hot lotion tube. This product is not as creamy and harder to remove from the canister but works exactly the same and doesn't smell as strong. I use it every morning and evening and recommend it for arthritis pain. As an update this balm is amazing in how it works. At first I was turned off by its consistency but it has grown on me as it goes on easily and I don't use as much as the tunes. I am on my second month of daily use and still have only used one half of one jar. At this rate it should last for a long time. The smell dissipates quickly and goes on non greasy.the

    I am a true believer of ICY HOT Balm. My local stores sell the cream and patches all the time, but often do not offer the original balm in a jar. In my experience with all my aches and pains, the balm really works for me. That said, nothing is a miracle worker, but Icy Hot can help relieve a little of your pain, hence making it easier to handle while you are trying to heal. My pain is usually chronic with bad flair ups all over due to my arthritis. It also can help with pulled muscles etc. I think it gives you that little bit of relief needed to keep your body from being so tense while you are knotted up in pain. If you have never used it before, try just a little at first because some people might not like the heat. Personally, the cold/hot combo does wonders for me and my family too. Some complain of the smell, but if I am in that much pain, who cares if something can help. The only other Con I can think of may be that it is a little hard to wash off your hands after applying, but again who cares if it helps.
