December 21st I had an accident with my razor. I did not want to go to thedoctors since I'm high risk. Plus the doctors closest to me aren't taking patients, I would have had to go to one 25 minutes away. I had my tetenus shot last year during pregnancy. I asked a couple friends and they all recommended Neosporin. I ordered from Amazon fresh and kept my nail super clean and put only Neosporin, no bandaid. The second photo is January 3rd. I am so happy I have my hand back. I think my husband and son are happy to be off diaper duty. 😅Thank you for saving me a trip to the doctors!

    Yes it's petroleum based and therefore my BF cringes to see me hoik it out of my camping pack. However, my old HS pal Jana Duhme (now married to somebody but I never met so dont remember her proper last name) has been doing significant research on health issues at SNU and assures us that mixing this stuff with tumeric will cure just wbout whatever ails you, if used topically. Plus it doesn't stain my white or ivory clothes and linens as much as the much touted on FB version of coconut oil and tumeric paste does (which is certainly food grade). Since nobody makes a profit from this reasearch except SNU, it will take a long time before the general public finds out. Meantime, I and other HS GFs have been field-testing it on zits, wrinkles, cuts, burns, dermabrasions, bone infections (in large amounts) bug bites, traumatic injuries of all kids, and other hazards of modern life, and comparing notes via IMs. Works like a charm. But I still don't use chapstick or other petroleum-based products unless it's to lubricate metal or something for which it was designed to be used. Human skin it feels great on, until it leaves you more chapped than before. The tumeric cuts that qualtiy out of the equation. So thankful I made an A in colllege chemistry.

    I love Neosporin I never leave home without it! Recently I was on vacation cooking at a friends house when I reached over the stove and severely burned the tender skin on my forearm! Luckily I carry a small tube of Neosporin in my make up bag everywhere I go my arm is almost completely healed after using Neosporin for a week even after the blisters have gone it’s still sore but it’s definitely healed. I travel for work and I would never leave home without Neosporin in my bag just in case!

    Once I cut my foot pretty deeply walking on the beach in Brazil I don’t even know what a cut my foot on it was probably glass since I didn’t see anything. And you guessed it I wrapped up my foot and put Neosporin all over it to avoid infection.

    Some doctors say that "studies show" these aren't as effective as we thought so they are a waste of money. I don't know or care for that matter I use it to kill the infection before it becomes sepsis. An ounce of prevention etc.
