I live in Western Tennessee and have recently relocated here from Washington DC. I have always like the NY Post. Their coverage of the local NY/East coast sports is [in my mind] the best anywhere. They must have a whole sports department and the reporters know they subject... plus which is great they don't pull any punches... they call like it is... if a guy is a dud... then he is dud.

This is the NYPost so most of the stores are about the NYC area. I ordered for the flavor of NYC reporting and how they see the DC area and the national scene. THIS IS NOT THE NY TIMES which makes it why I ordered.

It works good on my Kindle Fire. The pictures and text are outstanding. Their is a section... where they print all the weird stuff out there not just in NYC area... you just have shake your head when you reading about what some people do.

    For me it is worthwhile.

I was so pleased to finally see a NY Post app for the Kindle that I signed up for the free trial before I read all of the other reviews. This app does not work and was not worth the free price. The type is hard to read, the app does not load properly and it fails more often than not. Save your money. I do understand that this was not the problem with a previous release for the Android but I have no first-hand knowledge of that.

My brother used to live in New York City (Murry Hill) with his wife and daughter. They moved back to Ohio shortly after the towers came down. When I visited in the 1990's I felt so much energy in the streets of Manhattan. My wife and I stayed in New York City for a week during our honeymoon in 1997 and visited the World Trade Center. We took a picture of a rainbow from the indoor observation deck. Today when I read the New York Post I feel like I am in the city again. So much energy, drama, and intrigue.

perhaps it is just that the content of the New York Post isn't of great interest to me.

The app itself is pretty good. It just took me a few minutes to realize that each article scrolled down, not right/ left.

It is a bit confusing, but not unmanageable, that sometimes when you scroll down thinking that you will only be reading one article there are several, unrelated short articles that appear as you continue to scroll. As this behavior is seemingly random the user doesn't know when this will happen or when only one article will appear.

I guess you could call it a "feature". Surprise, now you will read three short blurbs, not one article.

I don't like how large the graphics are. When I want to read something the graphics are auxilliary. Maybe I'm in the minority of the intended user base.

I like the New York Times app much better.

I spent a few years in NY and always enjoyed reading the post while traveling between Long Island and the city. This was pre- cellphones, tablets...I am originally from Detroit and the local papers were different format then the POST, larger and harder to hold and read. Not only did I find the posts content entertaining but the paper was easy to hold ... While looking through apps I found the New York Post application and tried it out. It works very well. If you enjoy the post and like a tablet you will like this application.

Love this app for the Kindle fire. Its exactly the same as the print edition. Its convenient and easy to read during my morning commute. Love this paper because of its sports section which has the best Knicks and Yankees coverage in town. Definitely one upped the Daily News by having this available on the kindle fire! Thanks NY Post for appealing to kindle users and not just ipad users like the NY Daily News.

This is a great app for everybody who is mostly interested in US and NYC news (less interested in business and international news), however the program is easy-to-use with a lot of pictures. The app starts really fast and immediately shows the last issue of the newspaper. You can easily navigate between articles by moving your finger or tapping on the single arrow button; or use the double arrow button to move between sections (News, Opinions, etc.). You can also use the Index button in the top left corner to navigate, it is very effective and helpful because first you can choose the section and then choose the article's title which interests you.

On the other hand, the program has one bug which occurs when you try to continue the program after locked down your device, it says: 'The program will stop.' Then you have to restart it, but that's all.

All in all, it's a great application, don't miss it out!

P.S.: The program and the newspaper is only free for 14 days, then you have to pay for it. (10$/month or 100$/year)
