Got this for my 2 year old for his Birthday. We NEVER watch or do ANYTHING Elmo in our house. He picked it up from school and he's obsessed. So I thought this would be a good Bday present. And boy was I RIGHT. He took it out of the box and yelled EEEEELLLLLMOOOOO!!!!!!!! I got it for $50 on Amazon. It sells for $60 (plus taxes) at Walmart. At the time I bought it. My son sleeps with this thing. He carries it with him wherever he goes. He baby's it. He will put him under covers. Put his head on a pillow. HE FEEDS him doughnuts and chips. And gives him drinks. It's pretty ridiculous. He is nicer to this Elmo than he is to his own family!!! You hang him upside down and he laughs and says something about being upside down and wants to be upright. You hug him and he says "Please hold Elmo tighter". Then you hug him and he says "That's too tight." He says "Elmo loves you". My son LOVES that one and repeats it ALL the time. He sings a song to go to sleep. He sings another happy song. He pretends to sleep and SNORES. And then talks in his sleep talking about his fish, Dorothy. (That part is a little creepy b/c he's whispering a woman's name as he sleeps.) After having this thing for about a month and a half I accidentally pressed his foot and sure enough he has more things he says. His foot is a let's pretend button. "Let's pretend we're astronauts" and then you fly him around and he makes airplane noises. Or he pretends he's a bunny and you bounce him around and he says "Boing Boing Boing" for however long you bounce him. He does a frog and says "Ribbit Ribbit" and then he does a horse. This was all probably in the instructions that I never read. :)
