The PowerStep ProTech line of orthotics were developed by a podiatrist to provide a unique foot support system that goes beyond just comfort. The PowerStep ProTech 3/4 length orthotic insoles are a medical-grade foot support with built-in neutral arch and dual-layer cushioning that are the perfect balance of comfort and support in an even lower profile design. The 3/4 length with tapered edge leaves extra room at the toes. After I had meniscus surgery, my doctor's office recommended these arch supports. I recently bought a new pair after 3 years, and the older pair is still wearable and continues to provide support. I personally like the 3/4-length size because the insole is never too long and doesn't need to be cut. The end of the insole hits me right around the ball of my foot and does not reach my toes. They are comfortable - I am not aware that I am wearing insoles. I have purchased cheaper arch supports in the past that did last as long or provide as much support as the Powerstep ProTech. It's a good product.
